Amazing book about the soldiers, and their hardships, in WWII. Ambrose unlocks the feelings of those veterens in the war that shaped the world. They felt many different things, and Ambrose dug down, and he searched for memories as close, but still nowhere near as impactful, to those of the men of E Company and put those feelings into his writing. I will forever be in awe by the mastery of this story.
