Oh dear, I've skipped on updating in a timely fashion. Now I don't remember distinctly what I thought about this book as compared to the others. I think I liked the second one best, but this one was cool too. For me it seemed the best book series to listen to as I played WoW warlock for the first time ever.
As always Bartimaeus's footnotes are hilarious and crack me up! The book is good but a little jumpy and skippy, I wish there had been more in betweens.
The ending is disapointing though. Such a big build up and then its like the balloon just deflates before its even inflated. After the fight its a very abrubt ending with rushed info on what and where. I would have loved much more story here. Theres also no afterstory about the whole plan to end the demon slavery, it seems they just keep using imps after that, or will continue to, to some xtend. Also where was that huge awsome battle with demons on the commmoners side against the magicians that Kitty wanted, and the story led up to at some point? Its like the author gave up on that cause it would mean too many xtra words? :o
All in all …

All in all a series I can highly recomend, because its very different from our usual magic and because Bartimaeus is just so brilliant and hilarious! Really want to read the prequel too.
