I think if I started with The Regulators that I would have had a better experience. It's just that the sister novel is so darn good.
I had people wanting me to jump right into this one after reading Desperation. While this novel is very good, I found myself struggling to read it. With it's sister novel, Desperation, I had no trouble reading. In fact Desperation had hold of me to the very end. This novel is almost a potential dud, making it one of my least favorites of Stephen King's work so far. Matter of fact, it will be my first least favorite. Hey, they can't all be winners.

Stephen King is still the King, just because 1 is a dud for me doesn't mean I will stop reading his work. I plan to read a lot.
