Adorable, adorable adorable !!!!! I’ve been meaning to read this for so long. Absolutely precious - love the art style. Just a solid and compact story.

There is no chance you are finishing this book and not finding it god damn adorable.
heart warming and beautiful story and Jen Wang's drawing is stunning and gorgeous and makes everything 10 times more aesthetically pretty
Graphic novels are not my thing, but I read this one because a friend handed me a copy. It was cute, and I enjoyed the dress designs a lot.
I rarely become emotional while reading novels anymore, but I had happy tears at the end of this heartfelt, beautiful story.
We need more tales like this, to make up for the classic tropes of gender and appearance.
This is a great read in general, and it might be helpful as a way to help understand why someone would want to wear non-gender-conforming clothes. It would be a GREAT book for someone who likes (or might like) to wear feminine clothes but is concerned that they will not be supported. The protagonists are teens, and I can imagine low-key dropping this as a gift to a kid who is exploring the idea of wearing non-gender-conforming clothing or who is already doing so. Again, we need to see ourselves in our culture, in our media, in our books.
Such a warm, adorable, lovely book.
I really liked the artwork. The drawing style felt like a soft blend of Miyazaki's artwork (hat-tip: Ponyo) and other manga influences, while being a style I haven't seen elsewhere. And the story itself was a wonderful heart-warming tale of friendship, love, and support, told in an deft way that made full use of the medium.
WOW what an incredibly gorgeous book, both in its art and its storytelling. I’m going to read this over and over, I can already tell.
