From a Buick 8 is a horror novel by American writer Stephen King. Published on September 24, 2002, this is the second novel by King to feature a supernatural car (the first one being Christine which, like this novel, is set in Western Pennsylvania). According to the book's cover sleeve: "From a Buick 8 is a novel about our fascination with deadly things, about our insistence on answers when there are none, about terror and courage in the face of the unknowable." The title comes from Bob Dylan's song "From a Buick 6".
7/2/21 - listened to the audiobook this time around and I didn't care of it nearly as much as the ebook. I also enjoyed the story less this time...

Similar idea to Christine but smoother writing, it does feel more grown up. Very sinister at times, probably not a good book to read whilst taking yer driving test... unless you are learning in an evil car then go ahead and read it.
I read this quite a few years ago now, I do find that King's books tend to blend together a bit over time, probably a bad sign, still I remember falling asleep whilst reading this.
Very surreal, yet pretty real at the same time
