Sudhir Venkatesh hat seine Recherchen für seine Doktorarbeit in Soziologie als Erfahrungsbericht niedergeschrieben. Es ist sehr interessant und gibt einen tiefen Einblick in das Leben eines Sozialbau Projekts in den USA den vor ihm niemand hatte. Allerdings verwirrt der deutsche Untertitel, denn es wird eigentlich nicht behandelt was Gangs und Unternehmen gemeinsam haben.
