A great intro to Krebs

If you haven’t read anything by Brian Krebs this is a good introduction to his in-depth approach to reporting on Cybersecuirty and Cybercrime items. He does acknowledge that it takes a team and is honest and transparent about it. It’s a great look inside the Pharmacy Wars and how they started the accelerated path of the cat and mouse game between spammers, malware creators and the targeted people and organisations.

Review of 'Spam Nation: The Inside Story of Organized Cybercrime-from Global Epidemic to Your Front Door' on 'Goodreads'

There is stuff in this book about computer security that everybody NEEDS to know. Even more, the storyline is captivating because it pulls the curtain back on the spam industry. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is that the narrative seems choppy at points and jumps several years into the future/past in between paragraphs, only to jump back in the next chapter. Highly recommended.

A good and interesting book. I think I'd have enjoyed it more if it was a little more "human", and you got to know some of the main actors a little more. But a fascinating look into the underbelly of the internet.
