The growing cast of characters lessens the focus and the chosen one trope wears thin. There’s good stuff but obscured by cliches.
Oh wow! The end keeps me shocked and with mouth open! The book started out really calm and in parts was a bit boring, but the last quarter was thrilling!
I need the fourth book now. Like immediately!
