A good book to remind you to be present

Powerful book. It is in the practice of being present that this text finds it's merit.

Sadly, A New Earth is worse than The Power of Now: A Guide to Spiritual Enlightenment. It's mostly the same content, just repackage. I guess there's a little bit more information on the pain-body, but that's about all it has to offer. Basically, "your life's purpose" is to awaken and just be in the Now. Everything else is secondary. That's fine and well, and is probably true, but Tolle's earlier book says the same thing. To make matters worse, A New Earth is significantly more boring than his earlier book.
Fantastic. This will go on the "Books to read several more times" shelf. Came to it from Dan Harris's 10% Happier with the scepticism Harris conveyed about it. I think he was too harsh. The talk about frequencies is strange but when you're discussing hard to nail down topics, you use whatever language you can. The science behind taking it literally is less important than the general message. I learned a great deal from it.
