A few new people, and a very lively discussion about religion, revenge, insanity, feminism, patriarchy, history... Carolyn talked about her old Mormon students, and how they were polite, attentive and obedient, and memorized and parroted back exactly what they'd been told on the exams. (She also has read the Book of Mormon, twice, for some reason, and didn't think much of it as a piece of literature.) Jill talked of living in a Zulu village among a group of polygamous wives, and found that the living situation empowered them.
