I was worried this was going to be filled with so many tropes. It leans that way about a third of the way in but completely delivers. It's well thought out, the characters are believe, not unnecessarily dumb and the big bad doesn't stretch believability too much.
Disappointing. Hopelessness =\= horror. Frankly it was annoying and slow and I don’t know why I’ve seen so many people recommend this book.
