"The Man Who Died Twice" is the second book in the Thursday Murder Club series, and it preserves all the charm of the first one. The Club work together with Donna, Chris, and Bogdan to solve another mystery. Elizabeth is in her element faced against spies, criminals, and the New York mafia, supported by her loyal friends.
Mystery is but one aspect of this book. In between the lines, there is a discord about love, friendship, sickness, and death. All that described with a certain lightness, however.
Although the narration and the dialog is everything one would expect after reading "The Thursday Murder Club", Osman manged to intrigue. It is more than a mere rehash of the first book. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and can't wait to get to the next book in the series!
