A death at Xavier Institute reveals an enemy within the Institute and the X-Men must depend on each other more than ever as their world goes crazy around them. Meanwhile, an alien race watches and waits to see if they will have to move in and finish annhilating the X-Men themselves.
Really compelling... what a great and accessible story, for someone who hasn't really read many X-Men comics. I sorta knew some of the character histories, but even with my dearth of knowledge this book was able to tug me along by the heartstrings. Excellent cliffhangers.
