Review of "Democracy May Not Exist, but We'll Miss It When It's Gone" on Goodreads
3 stars
Very nice essays on democracy as a continuing process of defining and inclusion. The chapters all take a pair of concepts (Freedom/Equality, Conflict/Consensus) that may or may not be in tension depending on perspective, with historical and recent event connections. Summed up in the concluding title, "From founding fathers to perpetual midwives"
