By the time the velveteen rabbit is dirty, worn out, and about to be burned, he has almost given up hope of ever finding the magic called Real.
Listened as a Calm meditation/bedtime story.
Quite a deep and moving story, I think I read it a bit too early for my daughter as there were loads of question, she didn't grasp what the story was about. The copy I have has some very nice illustrations in it.
This is one of those classic children's books that is hardly ever read, if you have kids then give it a read as it is a beautiful story and could easily become your kids favourite.
I'm going to give this a re-read soon as my youngest has yet to hear the story.
