I'm not sure how this book ended up on my reading list, as, at the surface level, the topic didn't seem that interesting to me. However, this book was surprisingly entertaining in style and structure and very interesting in terms of the content. The book provides interesting and diverse viewpoints to human communities, human thinking, and multiple other aspects of humanity. The book inspects the topic on multiple levels. Even th0ugh the inspected case takes place in the 1850s, the book is very topical. And what I liked perhaps the best, the main hero of the story is called John Snow, and he sure did know something.
