I loved this story. There was a thing that bothered me quite a bit in the first chapter of the first book, but the themes in these books and the story told well overshadow that one thing.
Taylor's execution of demons and seraphim is amazing and believable. I highly recommend these books.
The pacing for this book really isn't doing it for me, which is a bummer. There's so much going on in this world- I'll definitely revisit this book once I have the emotional stamina (books 1 and 2 wrecked me and I read them both in a week and a half), but I wish for the beginning chapters at least there was more of a focus on the human world and the ramifications there.
An excellent ending to a fantastic trilogy. The second book was good, if a little weaker than the first and third, but this last installment make up for it. So glad I read this trilogy on a whim! it's a pretty unique story, at least compared to the books I've read, and if really recommend it!
