Very readable and practical advice on how to up your game to not only deliver more but not loathe doing it. Good stuff on metrics and other tidbits.
As a security professional, there are a lot of aspects touched on here that I've been trying to bring to security - especially customer-focus and outcome-oriented goals vs. metrics and busy-ness.

Fictional, dramatized story based on actual events and people (be sure to read the epilogue as the author explains the parallels!) I believe I've read about the real historical women spies, so that made the story richer. The characters were fascinating and had such strong personalities - especially Alice. Fun read.

The writing is beautiful. The coming of age aspects of the story are often tragic. Some plot elements felt a bit disjointed, especially for a novella. I liked the journey; the destination otoh, not as much. Would check out the author's other works.
