Johann Hari: Stolen Focus (2022, Crown Publishing Group, The)

Is your ability to focus and pay attention in free fall?

You are not alone. …

Really enjoyed this book. It was pretty deeply insightful about modern life and all the ways that our lifestyle can detail our attention. It inspired a short term reduction in my device usage but I think realistically it probably needs to inspire large scale top down change to help us fix our distracted society.

finished reading The Redemption Of Time by Baoshu (Remembrance of Earth’s Past, #4)

Baoshu: The Redemption Of Time (Hardcover, Head of Zeus)

In the midst of an interstellar war, Yun Tianming found himself on the front lines. …

Unofficial sequel to the remembrance of earth's past that was deemed so good by Cixin Liu he agreed to publish it. It's definitely pretty interesting but seems to dive off the deep end a bit around half way through. Still an inter eating read and decent closure after Death's End

Rachel Wilkerson Miller: How to Bullet Plan (2017, Pan Macmillan)

A more fluffy take on Ryder Carroll's original

Rachel goes through the basics of bullet journalling with an injection of humour and self deprecation. The most useful aspect of this book that is not shared in Ryder Carroll's Bullet Journalling book is the layout designs, stationary tips and some of the FAQs around how to maintain your BuJo habit.
