I think I would have given more stars if I hadn't already heard a lot of these stories from the author's podcasts/YouTube channel. Still a fun and funny book. It's probably hard to make a maths book widely interesting but this manages it

To me, this book felt full of cheesy affirmations (which I'm never comfortable with) and little substance beyond that

I never go into these types of books expecting miracles but I do hope for one or two good tips that really resonate and I can take away and work with. To me, this book felt full of cheesy affirmations (which I'm never comfortable with) and little substance beyond that.
I do quite admire the author's openness with a lot of the stories he tells but to me it never goes anywhere.
