This was a lovely story full of twists and contrasts between characters and places, and a lot of heart. Some of the in-universe lore was a bit hard to understand but overall I enjoyed it!

A great starting point
5 stars
I must say that this book was a very inclusive and enjoyable read and a great starting point for discovering my own earth-based spiritual practice, and learning more about my ancestors may have practiced before the arrival of Christianity in Europe. I love how the author encourages the reader to take what speaks to and works for them, and leave the rest. I recommend it to anyone who has any level of curiosity about this subject.
