Review of 'The Antichrist' on 'Goodreads'

I should preface this with the fact that this is my first and only Nietzsche work so far.

As good as his critique of Christianity is, most of it could be applied to most other organized religions if he didn't cherry pick the comparisons. He thrives off of missing historical data, instead of working off of facts to support his points. Often reads as a vastly more intelligent /r/atheism post.

His ideal of a society led by a vaguely defined "intellectual" class seems extremely biased, as he fell for the classic trap of "In my ideal system, I'm not the average person".

As much as I got the feeling of this being a take-down essay, the general feeling it left me with was the opposite of it. I'd almost classify this as a self-help book.
