I honestly didn’t know I was going to like this book that much, but I’m glad I picked it up. It made me remember, to turn the page when it needs be, and keep on living. The audio version is great. Recommended.

For an impulse In-airport-nothing-to-read purchase, this has been very satisfying. Quirky but not too surprising.
Good reflections on staying open to opportunity and moving when the time is right. When you have no idea what to do; sometimes, the right answer is to do nothing until you see a green light.
The audiobook is delightful! I loved every random little bit of it.
I wasn't very familiar with Matthew McConaughey before reading this—had seen a couple of movies he was in, but also had him confused with Owen Wilson to the point I don't think I knew they were different people.
As it turns out, I like Matthew McConaughey quite a bit. I definitely don't agree with all of his choices or conclusions, but I got a kick out of his off-beat reflections, great storytelling, emphasis on values, and straight-shooter vibe.
As another reviewer said, the audiobook is an experience. He obviously had a great time narrating and his enthusiasm is infections. (I imagine some folks would find it as off-putting as I do endearing, though.)
His little snickers at his own jokes cracked me up, too.

I force myself to live without any mentions of God though, it only means making it easier for you by allowing some mysterious man to decide your fate and love you (or not).

Also, a how-to book for parents we aren't - the rough way of teaching robustness and independence in life, something we haven't even learned ourselves in Eastern Europe so far
