This is ADORABLE. The art style is soft, beautiful, and soothing, the premise is imaginative and sweet, and there's a ton of diverse rep that's simply part of the world. Perfect as a comfort read if you're having a rough week and need something gentle. If you have a kid who loves to create OCs and think up back stories for each one, definitely get them this book!

This is book one in the series, and seems to be focused mostly on introducing the characters and the world. I'm looking forward to reading more of the Tea Dragon books.

Really really sweet and fun, a faster read than I expected (although the back matter is denser). Our son was gifted a copy in hardcover, and I had to get my own (ppbk tho). (Admittedly, I was struck by one of the cover character's resemblance to an internet personality.)

Anyway, I liked the variety and detail of the characters, and the subjects (blacksmithing, tea, dragons, relationships, memory, craft). I look forward to reading other books by this author/artist.

Would definitely recommend, especially for gifting.

4.5 Really can't give a comic book with such amazing art less than that. You can't really call it a graphic novel, though. It is just so short. The world-building is interesting - a lowish-tech fantasy world without war and adventuring being a thing of the past - and the tea dragons themselves are adorable and original too. But it is just soooo short, even with the little "owner's manual" at the end. If you feel like gifting this to someone maybe go for the three-pack with the other two comics that explore the world some more.
