I already read these issues in monthlies, but I wanted the trade paperback because the stories are so good and I want to support this title. Like all good sci-fi dystopias, Bitch Planet holds a mirror to our culture. In the age of Trump, the reflection is extra chilling. I gotta get the next one.
I've read my fair share of dystopian fiction, and some of it sticks with me but none can compare to Bitch Planet. Maybe because almost every other dystopian masterpiece is written by a man with a male protagonist, maybe it's because our current election makes my head and heart hurt. Either way, Bitch Planet is one of a kind.

The producers want to put together an all-female team from Bitch Planet for the entertainment of the male spectators. They chose Kamau to lead it. The women agree to do it, not like they really have a choice, because they have a plan to take down the event from the inside.I particularly like the end of each issue.
