What a terrible disappointment :-(. I have often held that Michael Connelly is my favorite author, but a good part of that today tells the WHOLE story. I understand when the book is part of a trio or some such, and it is indicated as such! This particular book contained two cases, and neither of them was really finished! There was no "closure", and I detest that. It's not fair to claim that a book is an entire book and yet not tell a whole story! As I said, totally disappointed!
As for the story itself, Harry Bosch displays himself to be somewhat of a d*ck, although in the end he is somewhat vindicated. Connelly definitely adds to the Harry Bosch character!

Superb, a great intertwining of plot and a lovely deep thoughtful Harry Bosch. Relationships seem a key in this one.
