Perhaps the material is a little bit dated or perhaps I just can't get past some of the poorly imitated "Texan" accents but this collection was just so-so. The characters are interesting and the story arcs are intriguing so I will continue reading the series but if it weren't for the upcoming film I probably wouldn't bother. I have to say the art is also a big pull for me. Scenes of bullets tearing off jaws have never been so vivid. So, hey, plus one star for creative destruction.
