Ich mag es nicht, wenn einfach so, als plot device, mal eben Leuten die Menschenrechte aberkannt werden. Klar kann man daraus eine Story machen, aber dann wäre das der zentrale Punkt. Rassismus usw. Ist hier aber nicht der Fall. 🤬 Hier so: ja nee, wenn der Lehrer das sagt, dann ist unser Klassenkamerad, nur weil er einen Autounfall überlebt hat, plötzlich kein Mensch mehr. Ist halt so. Selbst der Protagonist denkt nicht »Was für ein Kafka-💩 ist das denn? Ich soll plötzlich kein Mensch mehr sein? Habt ihr alle einen an der Waffel?« sondern eher so: »O, die sagen, ich bin kein Mensch mehr. Muss wohl stimmen. Ich mach mich besser vom Acker.«

Interesting concept, sort of slow story.

This particular manga is a bit... interesting. There are a lot of times where it feels like parts of the story fell away, leaving a lot of awkward transitions between the different groups of characters. It's also not entirely clear why certain feelings are had: Why are people afraid of Demi-Humans? What happened to the main antagonist to make him research Demi-Humans with the fervour he does? A lot of the basic expository aspects are left out, leaving the audience without a hook.

I really, really like how this story is put together, even coming at it after watching the series.
