A very insightful story, throwing a lot of light and background on the world of Game of Thrones.
Absolutely liked this book a lot.

Light reading. Sword and sorcery without the sorcery.
But I think I'll scream if I have to read the sentence "Dunk the lunk. Thick as a castle wall." ever again.
I really loved the characters and how they connect old Westeros with "current".
Stories are short and light, easy reading.
I really enjoyed meeting characters I've read about in the Song of Ice and Fire series. It was sort of a slow read with plenty of blood and gore and political intrigue but nothing on the level of the other books.
I'm happy I read it and any fan of the series would enjoy it, too, I think.
