Claudia Gray: Star Wars: the Fallen Star (the High Republic) : (Star Wars: the High Republic Book 3) (EBook, 2022, Penguin Books, Limited)

In this gripping sequel to Star Wars: The Rising Storm, the light of the Jedi …

I have not read a book that pulled on my heart strings like this one in a very long time. So many times there was a glimmer of hope, you start to believe, just for it to be utterly destroyed moments later. It was such an amazing read, my favourite Star Wars book so far. I highly recommend this book to anyone who like high stakes types of reads, this story will not disappoint.

Austin Kleon: Show Your Work! 10 Ways to Share Your Creativity and Get Discovered (2014, Workman Publishing)

Quick, Insightful and Actionable

Very quick read, but every sentence is punched with important info or an actionable step. Gave clarity on how to show my work (really fitting book name) and building your presence online without getting into the realm of actually advertising. Interested in reading the other books in this series.

Satchin Panda: The Circadian Code (AudiobookFormat, 2021, Highbridge Audio and Blackstone Publishing)

A comprehensive health book and lifestyle plan to help manage the body's natural rhythms offers …

Very insightful with tips on Time-Restricted Eating (TRE) right from the start. The middle part dragged a bit with repetition, but the final chapters picked up the pace.

It’s an eye-opening read with 4 key takeaways - just could’ve been half the length. Perfect for anyone curious about circadian rhythms and how to live healthier!

Ali Abdaal: Feel-Good Productivity (2023, Cornerstone Press Chicago)

The secret to productivity isn’t discipline. It’s joy.

We think that productivity is all about …

A Fun and Practical Read

This book is such an enjoyable read! The tone is down-to-earth, with plenty of funny and nerdy twists (shoutout to the Anakin Skywalker and Aang mentions). It’s packed with scientific examples and simple “experiments” you can try out.

What I loved most was how it tackled big struggles like lack of motivation and the whole “just be more disciplined” lie. The tips feel doable, and the focus on small changes makes it much easier to take action.

After finishing it, I’m looking at my goals, whether for work, relationships, or personal, in a new way. I’ve started trying out little nudges here and there, and I'm observing the difference like a productivity scientist. Definitely recommend! 🦾
