I loved reading this book. One of the best books that I have read (which aren't many). I loved the writing. It shows the author is just brilliant. She did such a great job at making you experience the world she created in the book.

The book has great starts and you are grasped from the first chapter, but it becomes amazingly great after the mid. Last few chapters are so creatively written, Wow! So inspiring.

I was able to read this in 1 day, short and crisp. But seems harsh at certain points in the book. The writing seems dated at some points.
I understand his point of view and the times he struggled, till he succeeded; made him the way he talks. Though the same principles still apply, some point of views of the author were not timeless.

I really enjoyed reading this book. It was a light and fun read. I really liked how aptly the notions of Nora, the protagonist are written. Just loved how inner monologues are written, so real. It is easy to relate to the characters.

It is a classic.

It left me feeling sad and bewildered about how society gives so much importance to work, development and status that you loose yourself. World moves on and you are easily replaceable.

Sally Rooney, Sally Rooney: Normal People (Hardcover, 2019, Hogarth) 4 stars

Rubbish. A quarter of it is love scenes. Very steamy like fifty shades of grey

I really loved listening to this on audible. I loved how the author talks about psychological state of young adult mind. I was able to relate to it so much even when I don't live in Ireland. It feels how people from different countries goes through similar emotional and cognitive experiences irrespective of place.
