Still processing this epic story that I just finished reading. Started it way before but couldn't finish it. Now that I have, all I can say is just good things about it.

Middle earth is my escape now, escape from the realities, with stories and characters so fascinating many of which I could still relate to myself or any other real-life things. The meaning it conveys is very much profound. The moral lessons, character development, the beauty of the Shire, the grandness of Middle Earth, the tales, and many more. So much to admire and take from this great tale of all the tales.

Truly a tale to rule all of the tales.

Will re-read it again and again when I can. But for now, I just want to explore more of Middle Earth and the other stories by Professor Tolkein.
JRR Tolkien is truly the father of modern fantasy …

Definitely more gripping that the FotR, with increased pace and more perils as the story goes. Every character is so well created by Tolkein and each part of the journey is engaging. I absolutely enjoyed reading how great Mithrandir aka Gandalf the great really is and how great the company is. Merry and Pippin, Frodo and Sam, all the four hobbits have a great journey to follow along including the remaining members of the company.

Now I can't wait to finish reading RotK before I write a complete review of the LotR!

Dear Gandalf,

                    Noooooooooooo!

just beginning the journey of an epic adventure read of a great perilous journey.

Some would say it has a slow placing, but for me it was more of a steady world building.

Paths are getting darker and the story more gripping.

As it is not a book with a complete story in itself, I shall only fully review it after finishing all the volumes of this epic trilogy.

Onto the next one, The Two Towers.

I wouldn't have considered reading this book just by reading the title. I was trying to learn how to write in cursive since my writing style is Print style. I wanted to do something with my free time and my interest in learning about handwriting and calligraphy grew so rapidly that I was searching for things online. Tutorials, videos, websites, and books. I then found this book being mentioned somewhere and I thought why not. Although I initially had doubts (like with many others books, lol) that it may be some hocus pocus. So, I read a few pages, like a chapter or two, and then I was interested in the idea of Graphology (which btw, seems to be some sort of a pseudoscience) and Graphotherapy (in which I still have a little doubt, but I think time will only tell).

The book focuses mainly on Graphotherapy, which claims to …

Like most people, I saw the movie first before reading the book. I wish I had picked up the book first but unfortunately, the book was released years ago when I was born. By that time of course the movie was almost out and I saw the movie almost like 10-12 years ago. I only finished this book now. So, I guess I’m late for the party.

Considering that the movie is one of the most rated and highly recommended movies of all time, if not the greatest movie, the book was still very refreshing and I really loved it and never once felt like stopping reading it.

It took me this long to pick this book and finish it, but honestly, there could not have been a better time for this to happen. In these dark times that I consider myself to be living in, Hope is one of …

"He became as good a friend, as good a master, and as good a man, as the good old city knew, or any other good old city, town, or borough, in the good old world. Some people laughed to see the alteration in him, but he let them laugh, and little heeded them; for he was wise enough to know that nothing ever happened on this globe, for good, at which some people did not have their fill of laughter in the outset; and knowing that such as these would be blind anyway, he thought it quite as well that they should wrinkle up their eyes in grins, as have the malady in less attractive forms. His own heart laughed: and that was quite enough for him."

A book worth rereading again and again. The moral aspect of the book is what attracted me in the first place and after finishing the book, I must say that I am not disappointed at all. This book helped me realize and learn not to be disappointed no matter what fate has for me, that we all are one in nature and one with nature and must carry on living our life without being a puppet on the strings controlled by the agents of emotion.

There's so much more to this book that I can go on about and not properly summarize. But I would say that this is one of the books that will help you think about so many aspects of life, so many walks of life, and help you not be worried and keep on going forward with a morale boost.

Stephen King is the "King" of what he does, there's no doubt about it.

Although I'm not a horror-fanatic, I really did enjoy reading this book by King, to the extent that I really wanted to finish the book as fast as possible, probably because of the horror element

A great introductory book for anyone who wants to enter the world of chess and not only that but a great book that reminds us to keep in mind the basic principles while playing chess at any level.

Although I wasn't new to chess when I read this book, it still was a lot fun and helpful reading Yasser's guide to play winning chess. This book will surely help beginners but also to players at higher level in many ways.

The Annotated games were fun to follow on the board :)

Loved my first Chess Book read!

Would've given it a 4.5 out of 5, but still, it's a solid 4.

Although the book is fairly very short, this select compilation of Vivekananda's larger volume of works is perfect enough to get his message across in a very neat way. The book is prefaced by the brief sketch of his life, which was interesting to read. The book actually begins after that and I would describe it as having two parts: One where he talks about faith, strength, power, destiny, education, society & god for man in general. The second part is where he relates it all with the people of his nation. And although I'm not an Indian myself, it wasn't that I couldn't relate. But for me, the first part was absolutely an interesting read. It had so many great quotes that it just made me more gravitate towards those profound words. Honestly, almost every …

Any review won't do justice to this Diary but I'll try to write as much as I can express.

While the writing may be from a childish perspective (especially the beginning), it sure does grow with the reading as Anne admits herself about her childish innocence.
The way she expresses herself in her diary is like talking to a "one-true" friend & that was enough for me to keep reading it.
Loved the way she described life in the Annex, the people, the helpers, and the relationship between them.
As the book progressed I felt more and more touched by her story, her dreams, and her perspective on life in general. In many ways, I felt connected to Anne.

May her soul rest in peace in Heaven.

A useful resource if you are the one who wants to teach others who are beginners. Not just for Python but programming in general. Beginners might enjoy reading this themselves.

For me, I just wanted to know how can I help the ones who are willing to learn a new language & what topics to include. But I must admit, even if I'm not that expert I revisited some topics and learned things in a new & concise way.

Btw, I think there's a typo in the code at 4.5 Nesting: a List of Dictionaries.

A concise book about the life of Nikola Tesla, especially the part which includes his inventions, researches & the struggles he had to go through while trying to make the world a better place & trying his best to overcome them.

Surely there is more about the story of the "Wizard of the West" but this book covers most of his great imaginations.

Enjoyed this quick read.
