I'm mostly a sci-fi reader, preferring happy feelgood stories, and competency porn, but reading a lot of different stuff makes me happy :)

Nathan Hystad: The Event (2018, CreateSpace Independent Publishing Platform, Createspace Independent Publishing Platform)

Fun and a bit silly book, with the right expectation this is fun

I did enjoy this book, I wasn't really have high expectations, but it did actually do what it said on the tin, it's not intelligent sprawling and mind bending, but it's a fun little action sci-fi story with some decent characters, I think I will continue on in the series :)

reviewed Agent of Change by Steve Miller (Liaden Universe, #9)

Steve Miller, Sharon Lee: Agent of Change (Paperback, 1988, Del Rey)

Really enjoyed this one, holds up pretty well

This is an old book, almost as old as me, and still didn't really feel like it, which is something that I enjoyed, it was a fun little story, and I liked the characters, I will continue on in the series.

Nathan Lowell: Zypheria's Call (A Tanyth Fairport Adventure) (EBook, 2012, Self Published)

Sometimes the longest journeys are within.

Tanyth makes her way across the ocean to continue …

Really fun fantasy story, calm

It's very easy to see from the loving writing about being out on sea that Lowell has experience with that, the story is just very nice, and we return to a bit more calm pace without as many perils, which suits me very well.
