Asimov doesn't disappoint in this book too!
With Bailey going to the outer worlds to solve a murder case when he has no idea about anything the outer worlds do, it's fun and exciting to see things from his perspective.
The book is thrilling, captivating and makes you want to read Asimov more and more.

I can understand why my 14 year old self loved Asimov.

Today the idea of absolute truths especially in social sciences seem so 1957.

I thought Asimov took a little bit of a different slant here than the other Robot novels; there's still the futuristic predictions (done well as always), but the off-worlder's phobias played a very large role in the story.

I don't think it worked as well; the people reactions felt logical, but stiff. Asimov's really at his best when writing about society and robotics, rather than human relationships.
