This is one of the best series of books for kids that an adult can also enjoy. The humour is great, the repeating of phrases works well, each repetition always makes my daughter laugh.
Some great characters here too. Klaus and Violet are great survivalists, Sunny is the best toddler in any book ever, Mr Poe is annoying as hell, Olaf's henchmen are a top gang supporting the man himself....the mighty mighty Olaf. One the best made villains that terrorises kids, better looking than Voldemort that's for sure.
We are also watching Neil Patrick Harris's version of this series and he is doing an amazing job.
Already read this book a few times now, really need to get a copy of book 3.
