Review of 'The Martian' on 'Goodreads'

Really enjoyed this one. Going to keep the review short to save the spoilers, but I really enjoyed the approach of this book. I cannot cannot express the appreciation I have for an author who at least for the most part gets his facts straight. Science included in a book is a beautiful thing when correct. For those who are less science inclined the book I would not say is too far advanced for anyone to understand through context and for that which is you can just kinda take it for face value and won't miss out on anything. This aside the book maintained a very relatable and realistic sort of feel yet also that sci-fi feeling I hoped to get too. Throwing in a both physical and mental battle as a man fights for survival against all odds without it becoming some sort of dystopian or outrageous cliche and …

I mean he was on Mars... so I will assume it is the future and anything is possible right? So all in all anything that was a little out there is something I believe is within grasp by the time we make it to mars.
