An awesome tribute to a plethora of writing styles of the 19th century. I have no business doing a literary analysis on this book, but that doesn't mean this book isn't worth reading if you aren't a fan of old literature. This book evoked strong feelings of wonder, exploration, and fascination with the world that Susanna Clark conjured from a mishmash of actual history and folklore and fairy tales.
