Ironically this book normalised a few things that I felt weird about myself.
(Ironic because zen, Sufist, Buddhist or self-help books are supposed to do that, isn't it?)
This book also put a lottt of things in perspective.
(For instance, I thought RomComs were the norm and I was the exception, duffaq)
Mindy Kaling, You go girl!!!

Fun, entertaining little stories about everything and nothing. I feel like they could have been written by anyone between 20 and 30, if anyone had the ability to write this quirky, quick and hilarious.
I'm not sure you'll learn any hard facts about Mindy Kaling, but since I know absolutely nothing about her, maybe I just missed all the context.

Sometimes I get in the mood for a light memoir by a funny woman. This definitely ticked the box. If you enjoyed books by Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Anna Kendrick, then give Mindy a whirl.

Clever, fun, lighthearted but getting some good jabbing points in as well, this book literally make me chuckle aloud on several occasions. Good job, Mindy Kaling. I appreciate what she puts out and I'm glad she is still doing it.

Funny! I related so well to the author and her stories that i am sure I was forgiving all kinds of awfullness and just enjoying the book. It felt like meeting someone you know is going to be a good friend...nodding and saying "That happened to you too!?" and "You did that too!?"
Quick, entertaining collection of essays and general funniness. I loved the list of potential reality shows.
