And he met Rosie, an untrainable elephant who was the great gray hope for this third-rate traveling show. The bond that grew among this unlikely trio was one of love and trust, and, ultimately, it was their only hope for survival.
I was entertained by this book, but not sure I liked it. it was ok though.
Generally well-received. And the ambiguous initial flashback fooled just about everyone. It was well researched, and aside from the plot, a fascinating glimpse into circus life during the depression.
