Das ist nur eine der großen Weisheiten, die in „Momo“ stecken.
Michael Ende hat 7 Jahre gebraucht, um „Momo“ zu schreiben. Danke für den Teil Ihrer Lebenszeit, den Sie in dieses Buch gesteckthaben, lieber Michael Ende. Wäre schön, wenn sich heute so mancher Autor oder so manche Autorin davon eine Scheibe abschneiden würde. Dann hätten wir noch wertvollere Bücher. Dieses Buch gehört auf alle Fälle dazu. Mit einer sympathischen Heldin. Eben Momo.

„Wann bist du denn geboren?“ Momo überlegte und sagte schließlich: „Soweit ich mich erinnern kann, war ich immer schon da.“

Ich hoffe, Momo bleibt noch lange in meinem Kopf.

Un libro que he disfrutado grandemente, con una fantasía que hace que disfrutes de la hermosa magia de Momo como si fueras uno más de los personajes de la novela. Pues Momo es una niña que no solo sabe escuchar, sino que tiene la habilidad para transmitir toda la vibra positiva que necesitas, al punto que cuando aparecen los hombres grises, logras mantener la esperanza de que el mundo volverá a llenarse de color y que las personas alrededor llegaran a entrar en razón.

Vale la pena su lectura, invita a una reflexión concienzuda sobre el uso del tiempo y la capacidad de empatía, de escucha y apoyo a los demás.

Es un libro precioso, cargado de inocencia. No estoy acostumbrada a leer este tipo de cosas, y quizas por eso, el final se me ha antojado extraño (procurare no hacer spoilers).

Momo es adorable, pero le falta humanidad. Tiene un gran don, y actua con una madurez impropia. Sus amigos son, claramente, lecciones una detras de otra. La imaginacion y la libertad de los niños, la manera de tomarse la vida de Beppo (que es ejemplar), Gigi y su irreflexivo modo de actuar...

Y, por supuesto, los hombres grises.

Es un libro que da para muchas relecturas, para leer entre lineas, para reflexionar sobre nuestro modo de vida. Recomiendo su lectura; y no una, sino las veces que sean necesarias.

Momo has got to be the best children's story for adults that you'll ever read. As a child, it was a great adventure book that managed to explain some of the complexities of the adult world to me. As an adult, it's the novel to underline just how useless and limiting many of these complexities are.

Every so often a book appears at just the right time; or, perhaps more accurately, I pick it up at just the right time after years on my to-read pile. Momo was enchanting and so perfectly relevant. All about listening, kindness, attention, love, and our brief time on Earth. A little heavyhanded, and admittedly not really a five, but I'm giving it five anyway.
