King Lear, an aging ruler, attempts to divide his kingdom among his three daughters, who turn against each other and betray their father, triggering events that ultimately shatter the kingdom, destroy the family, and drive their father insane.

It can be a great play, but to read it in a book... it's a normal story.
I only read it because it was Shakespeare, and as in Hamlet, I'm a little bit disappointed.
