4 stars
Hog father is another Discworld book featuring Death, whose interest in the human experience has led him to take the Hogfather’s place as the deliverer of gifts to good girls and boys across the Disc.
Written from multiple POVs, Hogfather left me confused at times, as people acted without explaining their motivations - rather like real people. By the end, I was fully immersed in Death’s perspective of humans, belief, reality, and how to use your power, no matter how big or small that power may be.
