Harry Potter e o prisioneiro de Azkaban

I was never a big fan of Prisoner of Azkaban, and seems that hasn't changed. Hermione's and Lupin's secrets amused me a lot the first time though. Man does that scene inside the hideout take a long ass time. lol Not to mention by now the "new teacher enters hogwarts -> teacher is very much connected to what's happening in the book -> conflict is resolved -> teacher leaves hogwarts" formula is overused by now.

I was gonna actually read the entire series, but after experimenting the audiobook narrated by Stephen Fry for the first time, I really wanna stick with audiobook format for now! He's so energetic and really makes the characters come to life. Definitely the best audiobook I've come across yet.

God, I'm excited for Goblet of Fire. It's my 2nd fav book.

Marking the Wizarding World's turn towards complexity and gradual maturity, Prisoner of Azkaban is dark in all the right places.

Have decided to re-read the entire series. Will not change the original star ratings, but will include my updated star ratings in the wall o' text.

My favorite of the first 3 books, from the perspective of adulthood. The story is more complex with multiple seemingly unrelated subplots which converge rather neatly at the book's climax. Plus, Hermione really shines here -- really, this is her story; she gets to save the day by being brainy and ferocious, whereas Harry is lucky when it matters.

In Harry Potter's third year at Hogwarts, events do not fail to occur, all seeming to revolve around Harry himself. Now, a wizard criminal so dangerous as to merit a warning to those outside of the Wizarding world has escaped the notorious prison of Azkaban. He is on the loose and seems to be coming after Harry Potter. As more ties between him and Harry's parents are revealed, matters can only get more confusing before they can be resolved.
I have found the story to be interesting, though not of much value beyond that as of yet. So much hype over a children's fantasy series.

Le troisième tome de la célébrissime saga Harry Potter, qu'on ne présente plus. Je me souviens que je n'avais pas gardé un très bon souvenir de celui-ci après ma première lecture, mais j'ai appris à l'apprécier lors de mes lectures suivantes, notamment en anglais.
