Eli reviewed The Girl Who Played with Fire by Stieg Larsson (The Millennium Trilogy, #2)

5 stars
Sequel to the girl with the dragon tattoo being as captivating as the first saga. More history is unearthed and new characters with crazy anomalies which we will hopefully learn more about in books to come. Intertwined with some geeky science and trust, and intelligence services cover ups and you have an intriguing murder mystery with plenty of violence and abuse. I like that the authors deal with the difficult topic of sexual violation, prostitution and violence, in a manner that hopefully makes it blatantly clear how violating it can be. 'she wanted me to' is rarely something a rape victim would have admitted.
Great detective work and running against time.
