neuro.nomad reviewed Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone by J.K. Rowling (Harry Potter, #1)

I waited far too long to pick up this iconic series (thanks to my sister for being such an obnoxious fan in our childhood that I wanted to be as distant from it as possible haha), but boy howdy I should have read this sooner. Harry Potter inspired an entire genre of novels for a reason, it's beautiful. There was obviously so much love poured into every page of this book, the characters have distinct, unique personalities, the world is vibrant and exciting, and the story is full of wonder and humor.
If only there was more Ravenclaw involved, it would be easy 6/5, but alas, it must settle for 5/5.
